Forward is delighted to continue its relationship with Horizon backed, DMC group, supporting the management team on acquisition number six, Leemic.
This latest acquisition adds a further £3.5m of revenue to the DMC Group and takes total revenues close to £70m. Established in 1972 and headquartered in Stockport, Leemic serves a significant number of customers across the North West of England and Scotland. The business will form part of the northern region and strengthens DMC’s business in the north, which already has operations in Gateshead, York and Manchester. The acquisition also provides DMC with the opportunity to expand into Scotland where Leemic has a growing sales and service operation.
Forward provided financial support to the DMC group on the transaction. This included working closely with Leemic to collate financial data, assess historical performance and KPIs, and build a fully integrated financial model to feed into the due diligence process.
Commenting on the transaction Simon Davey, DMC CEO said: “Sarah once again did a great job working with the Leemic management team to pull together all the information we needed. Her work not only gives us a heads up before we start due diligence, but also gives the due diligence teams a detailed pack of well prepared information to work with.”
Forward Corporate Finance Director, Sarah Moores, commented, “Another great acquisition for the DMC team. We are delighted to be able to continue supporting them as they grow.”
