Forward welcome Auzair Ali to the team

After another busy year, our team continues to evolve.  We welcome Auzair Ali as our newest recruit in the role of Corporate Financial Analyst.

Auzair joins after two years with boutique corporate finance houses in London, initially specialising in Oil & Gas before transitioning to the Real Estate sector. His role primarily focused on preparing marketing materials, pitch decks, and valuation models, including DCF and LBO models, to value assets and companies.

Prior to that Auzair graduated from Queen Mary University with a Distinction in MSc Finance.

Now at Forward, Auzair is keen to take on new challenges and broaden his expertise in Corporate Finance.

Outside of work, he is a passionate cricketer and can often be found out in the middle during the summer months.  We can now add further variety to our eclectic mix of sporting prowess here at Forward – paddle, motorcross, football, snooker, running, golf… and now cricket!

He is also an avid Arsenal supporter, closely following the team’s progress throughout the season, which makes for interesting Monday morning conversations.

Sarah Moores commented, “Growing Forward means continuing to invest in our team, and develop our capability to support our clients.  Auzair comes to us with excellent analytical credentials and is already showing his skills on our projects.”

Auzair commented “I am looking forward to gaining deeper insights into deal structuring and financial modelling while working alongside experienced professionals. It has been straight in at the deep end and I look forward to working with Rob, Sarah and the team to deliver results for our clients.”

The mention of private equity often scares people off, but it covers a whole range of investor types, and is often mis-represented in the media. Private equity is often synonymous with taking advantage of distressed companies, or with highly leveraged buy outs. But there is another side.
