We are delighted to announce two promotions. Amie Goodlad to Senior Manager and Ollie Geddes-Smith to Associate.
Amie joined us in 2019 and over that time has become an invaluable member of our team. In November she led on the sale of Claret to Network Plus as well as playing a key role in the investment from Lagan Construction into Trimline. Through tailored coaching sessions this year she has also been able to develop her leadership skills which will benefit the team over the coming months.
“I am delighted to be stepping into the role of Senior Manager at Forward Corporate Finance. Since joining the team, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some incredible entrepreneurs and management teams to help them achieve their strategic goals. In this new position, I’m excited not only to lead more of our deal processes and provide the high-quality, hands-on advice that our clients value so highly, but also to support the development of our growing team as we continue to build on the firm’s recent momentum.”
Ollie joined us in 2024, looking to further develop his career in finance and business. Since then he has started his ACCA qualification, alongside working on a variety of projects across the team. Ollie led the marketing on the sale of Portsmouth Harbour Ferry Company, and also played an active role in the sale of Landguard Engineering to Northern Industries.
“Since joining Forward, I’ve gained invaluable hands-on experience across the full end-to-end transaction process, developing through the direct guidance of Sarah and Rob, alongside the support of Amie and Will. I’m really grateful for the opportunity to step up to Associate and excited to continue delivering results for our clients.”
Sarah Moores, Director, Forward Corporate Finance, said “We are delighted to have Amie and Ollie as part of our team, and it is a pleasure to watch them develop and take on more senior roles on our projects.”
Our services
Business sales, MBOs and acquisitions all require strategic advice. Before embarking on one of these major projects, we can help you to analyse your past, prepare a financial model of your business’ future and develop your business plan for you and your team.
Management buy outs are another way of buying or selling a business – it is a sale of the business to a management team. However, in most cases, you as a group of managers will not have the funds to buy the business and will require assistance from banks, private equity and the vendor.
